The "TF Coat" from NOK Corporation, handled by Miyagishi Co., Ltd., is a technology that coats the sliding parts of the lip with fine particles of PTFE, a low-friction material. By applying fine PTFE particles in a thin layer, the adhesion to the base material, FKM, is enhanced, resulting in excellent wear resistance. The reduction in friction resistance due to the special coating achieves a low torque reduction of approximately 30% compared to conventional technology.
